Our Vicar in charge of St Barnabas Church

is here!

Helen joined St Barnabas as Priest in Charge in May 2007.

She was ordained in 2003 and was curate in the Painswick Benefice.

Prior to ordination Helen worked as doctor, firstly in Africa, and latterly as a GP in Gloucester.
She is married to Alastair, who is a surgeon in Gloucester and they have 3 children Alec, Peter and Becky.

 

Reverend Ray Jewell

Ray is an Assistant Priest in the Parish. He spent most of his life in ministry as a Church Army Captain, and was delighted to be ordained a priest at the age of 78! Ray shares the leading of our worship, and has a particular interest in pastoral care. He is married to Sheila, who helps with much of the administrative side of running the parish, as well as sharing in pastoral care.

Mrs. Sue Duligall

Sue has worshipped at St Barnabas for ten years and was licensed as a Reader in September 2006. She is married to Dennis and has two grown-up children, Matthew and Joanna. She works part-time for her husband as a bookkeeper for his computer-based training company. As a valued member of the Ministry Team, she leads worship, preaches and shares the work in the community.
